All my packages are based on me being your wedding day photographer. Additional photographers can be added if you feel the need to have them. The most common question is how can you be at two places at the same time during the getting read process. It is all about forward planning and having a game plan.
I will do a needs assessment of your wedding needs. After I speak with people during consultations and explain how I work, my clients have a better understanding in how I work. I think the most mis-understood, mis informed information in the wedding photography world is that more photographers will give you better coverage or more pictures. This is not necessarily true. There are some benefits and there are also some drawbacks depending on many factors such as the location of the wedding and the operating conditions.
There are times when more people are just plain distracting to your guests. One of the big complaints I hear from people during consultation is that they were at a wedding and the photographers were all over the place making noise and a distraction. On the other hand there are times where 2nd photographers can be an asset. The one thing I would not get so hung up on is the number of photographers you think you need. It is more important to find a photographers style that you love.
I will say this… there are some photographer that need to work with two or even three other photographer to cover what they need. For me, I am comfortable, creative and operational by myself but that is not to say I will always be by myself. I have put 4 person teams together to capture weddings so it really just depends.
This is another great top that should be addressed at more length if you have questions.
